I’m never at the cutting edge of anything. I arrive to fandoms late. I’m not especially adept at joining the dots. I seem to have an ever-decreasing amount of time to indulge in fan art. Therefore I tend to be playing with the toys that everyone else has already smashed around and grown bored with.
MtP figuratively clipped me in the jaw, and I’ve been having real trouble integrating what I saw with what I’d seen prior and what my head canons were. I am still experiencing that issue.
I’d been wanting to do this image since the morning I got up at 3am to watch MtP, but a combination of being overloaded with work and real life duties, and a sense of being somewhat adrift in my headspace for this fandom has delayed me until now.
I know this is not an original image. I’ve seen several fan artists draw images of Pyro with the dimorphic reflection in the gas mask eye lenses. It is not my intention to claim I had the idea first (cos I didn’t), or that I haven’t seen other artists’ work that is like this (because I have). Like I said, I’m always late to the metaphorical party.
There’s been discussion as to what Pyro sees, has seen, or knows of reality… theirs or ours. I have no answers. For me, this image says more about my uncertainty than Pyro’s.
My sincere and grateful thanks to Mugen for her feedback in the closing stages of this image.
Thought you guys might appreciate some hot guys in kilts. I don’t own any of these images.
ME. GUSTA.
Hell yes ;DD
